Deriving from Anna's thesis of the Kitchenless City, this workshop aimed to create and discover an evolving city of rooms and displace the idea of the singular home and the spaces associated with them. With the elimination of particular programs of the rooms chosen, all we were left with was the rooms perimeter. Using Florence as a take off, aspects such as road structure and historical icons were discussed and used as drivers of our new homeless city, while room profiles were taken from palazzi to apartments to churches, further emphasizing the city as a shared home.
